Your Hosts Hazel and John Burton emigrated from England in the summer of 2003. They bought their property having been in Canada three days, and they know the Universe brought them together. The day they viewed the property hawks circled over head, giving them both the message this was the home for them. The house is nestled in a circle of pines, maple and cedar giving the impression of being deep in the bush. Actually they are 10 minutes from the sleepy town of Coldwater and 20 minutes from the main town of Orillia. They have neighbours minutes away, although you can't see their homes. Both Hazel and John have gone through major transformation since living here, beyond their expectations or goals. Living a life built on trust, faith and belief in themselves and the Universe. Who they once were seems life times ago, now they live a relatively simple and abundant life. Having the best of both worlds, like bringing heaven to earth. Yes they still have their challenges to go through, knowing that is how they grow and evolve. Now they have the spiritual tools to assist them on their spiritual journey, It is like having your own medicine bag, you dip inside and find what is best for you at this time. Recently Hazel was up North presenting one of her many workshops, and she found herself thinking “This is God's Country ". In that instant she knew that everywhere is God's Country. She had an ' aha ' moment--- the group consciousness of most countries is the people, while the group consciousness of Canada is Nature, which is always in balance. She knew in that moment that living in nature was the key to their accelerated healing, and why she needed to bring to her retreat those people that are ready to move forward in their own Healing Journey, so they too can live in peace and harmony and take that back to their home. So they can shine their Light and be a Beacon for others so they can heal.
